Professor Abderrahmane Sidi Said was born in 1953 in Algeria and has Doctorate of Medicine degree at medical school of Algiers at 1979 and after his residency training 1980 – 1984 he was Assistant Professor 1985.and Professor University of Algiers CHU Bab El Oued since 1997

Abderrahmane Sidi Said was Member of the Scientific Committee of Bab El Oued University hospital and Director of Medical and Educational activities University Hospital of Bab El Oued ( 2000). and President of the National Training Committee of Neurosurgery (2000-2006) and also Member of the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (2008).He is the author and co-author of more than 200 presentations and publications (international and national) and member of editor Editorial Board of ‘African Journal of Neurological Sciences and review of “Neurochirurgie” French Neurosurgical Review” and Director of the WFNS Course (Nov.2010)

He was the member founder of Algerian neurosurgical society, Maghrebian Neurosurgical Society, African Federation Neurosurgical Societies, CAANS Society and Middle East Spine Society “Mespine”

Abderrahmane Sidi Said was President of the 59th Congress of the French Neurological Society (SNCLF May 2009) and 1st CAANS Congress 2014 and he is President of CAANS and Member of Executive Board of WFNS Foundation and Member of Executive Committee of MESS (MESPINE) Member of CDS (Scientific Steering Committee) of the SNCLF (Neurosurgical French Language Society)
